{BeAr LaKe PhOTo ShoOt}

So every year we go to Bear Lake several times, and every year as we drive through the CUTEST little towns I wish I would have packed more than just "cabin clothes" so I could take my kids and my nieces and nephews pictures! This year I remembered! We planned ahead and my cute sister-in-law Kristen and I spent a whole afternoon taking pictures of our kids! We had a blast (despite the mosquitos) and we didn't even get to all the fun spots we had scoped out! I guess it leaves us some uncharted territory for the next time. Check out www.octoberroaddesign.blogspot.com to see the rest of the phot shoot!

Wow! So this is a huge catch up post, with some of the highlights from the past few months! I just took all my PTA stuff to the new President and I feel like I have a few more minutes to catch up on some neglected things! One of those, obviously being my blog! I've missed all of you! So I apologize for the GIANT post, but at least I am some what caught up! 6th Grade Graduation! I can't believe that my Kesli is really graduated from elementary school! And now we're gearing up for Jr. high! AHHHH! She had a wonderful experience in elementary at Lakeside. She had fantastic teachers and friends and we couldn't have asked for better! My friend Jenn and I were in charge of throwing the party for the graduation. We decided that soft serve ice cream machines would be so much fun. The kids loved making their own sundaes....I guess you can't go wrong with ICE CREAM!!!! Kesli won the Kiwanis Hope of America Award. We are so proud of her!

SOFTBALL! We have had an amazing season so far! Utah Thunder went undefeated in our spring league, and then won the championship in the tournament. They went undefeated again and won the Championships in Salt Lake and Brigham. They took 2nd place in Roy! And we just finished playing in the State Tournament and took 3rd! Not too Shabby! Softball has been such a fun thing our family is soooo in involved in and we LOVE it. We ahve a few more tournaments this summer that we are totally looking forward to! Now my little Kemmers is getting ready for a comp team tryout the end of August! So hopefully.....here we go again!

Preschool Graduation! So my two book ends are both moving on! My oldest going to Jr. High and my youngest heading to Kindergarten! He loved Preschool at JellyBean Junction with Miss Sara! She has made him so excited for school (well that and all the time he had to sit in the school with me the past few years!) I can't believe that my baby is 5! I asked him what I was going to do when he went to kindergarten and he replied.." um, get a job!" I asked where I should get a job and he said "well, you're pretty good at making sandwiches, maybe you should work at Subway!" I'm sure I'll find plenty to fill my time!

Medieval Feast! It is a tradition that the 6th graders get to do a Medieval Feast every Year. They get to dress up in their assigned part and they truly have a 7 course FEAST! It was fun to be there to help and see all the things they had learned about that time period!

T-Ball! Kyson was so stinkin' excited that he was old enough to play t-ball this year! He LOVED it! He would dive no matter where the ball was hit. He has already asked when it starts again!

I'm so proud of my Kemri! She tried out to do a duet for their 4th grade Utah program. She called me from school the day they found out and was super excited. She not only got the part, but she got to sing it with her best friend! It was the cutest little song called "Shoes" about pioneers and their struggles. Kemri and Madi did an amazing job!

Soccer! Kyson is loving that he can participate in all the city sports now! He loved Soccer this year, even thought he weather was little strange and FREEZING! Goaly was for sure his favorite, because he got to dive on the ball!

Dance Competitions! We had a great dance season! My girls are still loving dancing at Studio 48! We had three competitions this year and they took first place in most of them! They did a great job, but most of all they learned a TON this year and had so much fun! A special thanks to Dallas, Jake, Halle and George ( Amanda) My girls LOVE them!

ELVIS is in the building! Kemri's class had to do a report on a biography. They could choose anybody they wanted. First she chose a past President and decided it was kind of boring, so she went for Elvis instead. She loved this project, especially greasing back her hair and playing her guitar!
