Meet.....Kyver

This is our little guy! Kyver Adam Curtis! He came August 16th and weighed 8 lb 5 oz! He was about 3 weeks early and a good thing! I would have had an 11 lb baby if I had gone until Sept 1st! we are LOVING every minute of this baby! I can't believe how lucky I am to have him. I just sit and stare at him all day. The older kids are just so in love with him too! I know that I am totally late in posting this.... but I haven't wanted to miss a single minute of my baby. I feel so very blessed that he is here and safe! It was a long, HOT, summer, but worth every second.

It's a .......BOY!

We just had our big ultrasound yesterday and thank goodness everything was healthy and functioning the way it was suppose to. I'm not sure why I have been such a paranoid freak this pregnancy, but I know poor Kyle, who has been so patient, is starting to wonder what happened to his real wife. We were also so excited to see we were having a BOY! I would have been excited no matter what, but I am so glad that Kyson will have a little bro to wrestle with ( in a few years of course) Now the discussion in our house is figuring out the bedroom situation. We definatley have some preparing to do, but I'm feeling so much better now that it actually sounds fun! Thank you so much for all the super nice comments and well wishes....I feel very lucky to have such great people to rub shoulders with, even if it's only online!

Big News!

So I realize I haven't posted for quite a while. I have been a little preoccupied. We have been trying to have another baby for quite some time now and finally after lots of drugs, a miscarriage and patience.......We are having a baby! I am super excited but still very nervous. I am about 11 weeks and I know that even after the "safe" 12 week mark, you are never really safe. But, we are staying positive and hopeful that all will work out and that come Sept. 1 we will have a healthy baby boy or girl! ( Kyson says he votes for a boy) I am starting to realize how old I really am. Things are not quite as easy when your in your 30's as they were in my 20's. We also just realized that we will have a Sr. in high school and a kindergartner at the same time. WOW! But, I just feel so blessed to have another one that we'll just take things as they come and hopefully laugh about it later!
