This is our little guy! Kyver Adam Curtis! He came August 16th and weighed 8 lb 5 oz! He was about 3 weeks early and a good thing! I would have had an 11 lb baby if I had gone until Sept 1st! we are LOVING every minute of this baby! I can't believe how lucky I am to have him. I just sit and stare at him all day. The older kids are just so in love with him too! I know that I am totally late in posting this.... but I haven't wanted to miss a single minute of my baby. I feel so very blessed that he is here and safe! It was a long, HOT, summer, but worth every second.

We just had our big ultrasound yesterday and thank goodness everything was healthy and functioning the way it was suppose to. I'm not sure why I have been such a paranoid freak this pregnancy, but I know poor Kyle, who has been so patient, is starting to wonder what happened to his real wife. We were also so excited to see we were having a BOY! I would have been excited no matter what, but I am so glad that Kyson will have a little bro to wrestle with ( in a few years of course) Now the discussion in our house is figuring out the bedroom situation. We definatley have some preparing to do, but I'm feeling so much better now that it actually sounds fun! Thank you so much for all the super nice comments and well wishes....I feel very lucky to have such great people to rub shoulders with, even if it's only online!

So I realize I haven't posted for quite a while. I have been a little preoccupied. We have been trying to have another baby for quite some time now and finally after lots of drugs, a miscarriage and patience.......We are having a baby! I am super excited but still very nervous. I am about 11 weeks and I know that even after the "safe" 12 week mark, you are never really safe. But, we are staying positive and hopeful that all will work out and that come Sept. 1 we will have a healthy baby boy or girl! ( Kyson says he votes for a boy) I am starting to realize how old I really am. Things are not quite as easy when your in your 30's as they were in my 20's. We also just realized that we will have a Sr. in high school and a kindergartner at the same time. WOW! But, I just feel so blessed to have another one that we'll just take things as they come and hopefully laugh about it later!

Love, Love, Love Fall! This is for sure my most favorite time of year! One reason is because it is such a great itme to do family pictures. Christmas will be here before we know it ( I know, I know, fall comes and goes much too quickly), so I am now book ing family pictures and doing Christmas cards. I'm getting a little booked but still have lots of time left! Leave me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call 801-807-8019, 801-776-6331 to schedule an appointment. I guess every mom knows the second they have a new little baby that they will always be growing and changing. Some changes we totally welcome, like when potty training is over, or when they FINALLY sleep the whole night in their OWN bed. Others are a little harder to swallow. This year on the first day of school, I was the mess of a mom crying as I dropped my oldest off at the Jr. High school, not allowed to take any pictures, and crying again as I watched my youngest walk into the Kindergarten room like I wasn't even there. I was totally blind sided by how emotional I was the whole darn day. I knew it was coming, I had gone to the Jr. High for orientation and to the kindergarten picnic, but I guess when the time came I still wasn't all the way ready to let my little ones grow up. Luckily, my Kemri, who started 5th grade didn't cause me too much stress! ( she never does)

So every year we go to Bear Lake several times, and every year as we drive through the CUTEST little towns I wish I would have packed more than just "cabin clothes" so I could take my kids and my nieces and nephews pictures! This year I remembered! We planned ahead and my cute sister-in-law Kristen and I spent a whole afternoon taking pictures of our kids! We had a blast (despite the mosquitos) and we didn't even get to all the fun spots we had scoped out! I guess it leaves us some uncharted territory for the next time.
